5ENSES MAGAZINE
“BIRD OF THE MONTH” PROGRAM

Since April 2014 the Prescott Audubon Society has published special “Bird of the Month” articles in the local 5enses Magazine.

5enses is a FREE monthly publication, owned by editor John Duncan, and available at hundreds of locations throughout area and read by thousands each month.

PAS Bird of the Month articles feature informative and interesting facts and photos highlighting unique bird species located in our area during the month of publication, providing insight into the lives, characteristics, habits, and environmental issues these birds face each day.

This program is supported by volunteers who contribute 300-350 word articles, and often photos. This diverse group of authors represents a small percentage of the actual “birders” in our areas, but their contributions have a large and extremely positive impact on the community awareness of the beautiful natural habitat and environment we share with our feathered friends.

We encourage you to consider joining the ranks of “Bird of the Month” contributors and share your appreciation and excitement for birding, while reminding folks there is an active and thriving National Audubon Chapter in their community.

For information regarding submission and publishing criteria, and to reserve your species of interest and month for an article, email: gro.nobuduattocserpnull@mob, or call Ryan at 928-300-9075.
