$1000 Environmental Scholarship for Students Attending Colleges in Yavapai or Mohave County.
Our 2025 application submission period is now over, and we have a winner! Congratulations to Savannah Hollenbaugh of Prescott College.
We host this scholarship every year, and we will be offering another application period next autumn.
Stay tuned.
Are you a college student who is passionate about the environment and about contributing to environmental conservation? We accept applications from students in all fields -- sciences, arts, and humanities.
Audubon Adventures
For years, we have provided
these fun and quality
educational materials
to enhance the natural sciences
offerings available to teachers in our
Chapter area's elementary schools.
For this school year (2024-25),
we have received teacher replies
and we have sent off the
applications to National Audubon.
Many thanks to Elaine G. for doing
all the behind-the-scenes work of
contacting the
teachers and submitting the
Audubon Adventures applications to
National Audubon.
Nature Ninos and Junior Naturalists
We strongly support these
extracurricular and after-
school programs in our
Prescott region.
We provide field guides,
binoculars,
and act as teachers' aids
to these inspiring outdoors
learning programs.
Kids' Treasure Hunt
Friends of Acker Park and the City pf Prescott have created a Treasure Hunt, with "treasures" for kids to find in Acker Park and around town. Think of this as a fun sort of kids' geocaching adventure!
